Khia KurtenbachEconomist & Chief of Staff
Khia Kurtenbach is the Andersen Institute chief-of-staff and an Andersen Institute economist. She partners with our CEO in steering the Institute’s efforts to create insights for global business leaders and policymakers on the most important economic issues and questions of today and also contributes to the Institute’s economic research, primarily via her work authoring the Institute’s Economic and Financial Markets Roundup Report.
Before joining the Andersen Institute, Khia was an investor and economic researcher for Bridgewater Associates, an investment management firm founded in 1975 that serves many of the world’s largest pools of capital, including sovereign wealth funds, pensions, endowments, and foundations. In her time at Bridgewater, Khia was primarily responsible for oversight of the firm’s macro equity index trading strategies, giving her valuable experience in analyzing global economic trends and financial market drivers, as well as in fundamental equity analysis and modeling.
